Premier League recap - Arsenal recording a win

We start our rounds down of the bottom of the table with Arsenal recording their first win of the season over Everton 1-0 with Ray Parlour getting the goal to get them out of the relegation spots and putting Ipswich in after they drew 1-1 at home because Brian Deane scoring a goal in the 68th minute to get Sheffield United away from the bottom.

For Manchester United, their season would go from bad to worse after they would lose 1-0 to Liverpool away from home with Ronnie Whelan getting the goal to put them on the bottom of the table after seven games of the season so far. On the other end of the table, Tottenham defeated Nottingham Forest 1-0 with Teddy Sheringham getting a goal to aid the team to fourth on the table only one point behind the leaders.

Norwich and Chelsea also recorded wins over Leeds United and Crystal Palace respectively as the transfer markets stay quiet this week.
